"You've got mail"

.... Well, that's almost what it was like when I was told that the package from the US had arrived :-) My sweet host parents have been out buying t-shirts, a cap, magazines, newspapers etc. and sent it all the way across the Atlantic to me. The cap was tested on the tennis courts just the next day, and the t-shirt joined me on a run a few days later. It was a lot of fun to look through the local news paper to get an impression of the shops and businesses in town, and also see what kind of events are going on. There was also lots of commercials in the paper, and they were filled with real American coupons - a thing I associate with being very American.
